First Year Milestones

Now, it’s time to think about all of the exciting milestones your baby is going to go through during their first year of life. Things like rolling over, touching toes, sitting up, crawling, standing, walking… the list goes on. There are so many sweet milestones that happen in such a short period of time. The best way to cherish these moments is with a baby milestone session.

We’ll create beautiful keepsakes of your baby’s biggest achievements throughout their first year. Many of the families I work with love to schedule their milestone sessions around 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and/or 1 year. Although every baby is different, typically around the aforementioned months we get to see a new development, from rolling over to crawling to walking.

Packages

Most of the families I work with choose to enroll in my Baby Plan membership which includes 4 sessions in a 15 month time period. For a 4 session plan I recommend: Maternity, Newborn, Sitter, and First Birthday Sessions.

You can choose a petite baby milestone photography session of just baby or a full family milestone session.

Your baby is only going to be this tiny once. Their first year is going to fly by faster than you can possibly imagine (at least that’s been my experience…). I’m here to help you preserve these beautiful moments together as a family with stunning images that you will cherish for years and years to come. And every time you pick up their first year album or look at those fine art framed prints on the wall. You will thank yourself for investing in these memories.

Petite Baby milestone photography sessions take place at my home studio in SE Portland. Full Family milestone sessions can either take place at my home studio or at one of my pre-approved locations for outdoor portraits.

My approach to baby milestone photography is minimalist.

I use neutral backdrops so that your images will stand the test of time. I will use natural, wooden non-toxic toys for babies to play with and to help grab their attention. These types of toys photograph beautifully and still keep your images focused on your baby.

If you love minimalism and neutral tones and colors; you want a stress-free, done-for-you experience where you don’t have to worry about doing your hair and makeup, what to wear for your session, or how and where you’re going to print your images after your session is over. Then friend, we are going to get along great!
