Their love was palpable. From the moment they sat down to enjoy their coffee and discuss their wedding with me, I could feel it. The way she gazed up at him. The way he smiled back at her. The cute giggles between the two of them.
I asked to hear how they met and they looked at each other with a slight grin, giggled and simultaneously said they met online. Then Gary spoke of how his daughter, Danika, who knew Dana from her school, approved which more or less sealed the deal for him. It was super sweet to hear about how much he valued his daughter’s opinion. But beyond that I could see how Gary looked at Dana in the most loving way. It was clear to me that these two were meant for each other.
As we finalized details for their Thunder Rock engagement session they asked if they could include Gary’s children, Danika and Tristan, in the session. I responded with, “Absolutely!”
And I’m so glad we did!
It was so much fun watching these four interact with each other. Certainly, it was obvious that the love and laughter that fills their home is endless.
While Dana and Gary were the main focus of the session, we also got some great photos of Danika and Tristan, both together and by themselves. And I just adore how their personalities really shine through in these photos.
Upon first meeting Dana and Gary, I had a strong feeling that their wedding would be a ton of fun to capture. And that feeling was definitely confirmed when I got to photograph them with Danika and Tristan during their engagement session.
Dana and Gary, you are a month out! You are almost there! I can’t wait to photograph your celebration of love next month. Congrats! ?
