Helium Comedy Club

Helium Comedy Club is a space that prides itself on bringing the biggest names in comedy into a small space so you can get the most out of every set. Each act has national entertainment credits but will be within 60 feet of every audience member.

The shows typically last an hour and forty minutes. You’ll be treated to an opener, a feature, and a headliner. The club has a menu featuring delicious appetizers and cocktails/mocktails.

99w Drive-In

If you’re looking for a classic date idea, why not check out a drive-in movie? 99w Drive-In is a retro drive-in theater with some of the biggest releases.

The drive-in allows you to bring in outside snacks but has a pretty great snack bar you can check out while you’re there. The theater sells out regularly and is first come, first serve, so ensure you arrive early!

Salt & Straw

One of the best ideas for a date night is to indulge your cravings with an out-of-this-world ice cream cone. Salt & Straw started as an ice cream cart and has turned into so much more. The owners source ingredients from local farmers and artisans to deliver a fabulous product.

They’re constantly experimenting with new flavors while working with the community around them. And when you get ice cream from Salt & Straw, you can count on your dollar going to organizations such as The Trevor Project and Basic Rights Oregon. Talk about sweet!

International Rose Test Garden

Are you looking for a totally gorgeous place to stroll around after dinner for your date night? You’ll love the International Rose Test Garden. This serene spot is in Washington Park and contains over 10,000 rose bushes with over 610 varieties.

Between May and October, the roses are in bloom, making it the perfect place to go for a stroll with your partner. The garden sits on over six acres and features a grassy amphitheater where tons of couples host their wedding each year. You can hire a tour guide or allow yourself to get lost in the aisles and aisles of roses.
