My style of photography is focused on keeping babies safe first and foremost. No unsafe poses over here. I work to photograph babies in a similar way as to how you would find them naturally sleeping. I work to keep their environment nice and cozy, with lots of blankets, warmth and soothing sounds so they can just snuggle up and sleep peacefully.
My goal is to make your experience as easy and stress-free as possible. I help you with styling your whole family for your light and airy newborn photos. Prior to our session, we will get on a pre-session planning call where we can discuss outfits for the entire family. I’ll create some vision boards for you that will help us achieve that light and airy look for your newborn photos. You can borrow from one of the 60+ size inclusive dresses in my studio client wardrobe and I’ll help you with styling the rest of the family based on what you will wear.
On the day of your session, my amazingly talented hair and makeup artist will come to the studio and take care of you before you step in front of the camera. She works to highlight your natural features and helps relieve the stress of getting ready for your portraits on the morning of your session. Trust me, you definitely want to hire her, it will make your life so much easier!
About 3 weeks after your session, your light and airy newborn photos will be ready to view via an online proofing gallery. This is the fun part, when you get to see your final images. I always tell families to pop some popcorn, grab your favorite beverage and get together as a family to watch your images in a slideshow and then pick your favorites.
