The crocuses are starting to pop up. Daffodils are blooming, the cherry blossom buds are forming, and soon the roses will appear. With Spring around the corner, now is the time to start thinking about your summer photo session! Today, I’m sharing a Portland rose garden newborn session.
Georgie reached out to me to photograph her, her husband, Scott and their new baby.. We were only a few months into COVID, so an outdoor location was a must. We also didn’t want to wait too long — I recommend having a newborn session within the first 7-14 days after your baby’s birth.
At two weeks old, the timing was perfect for Baby J to have his photos taken with blooming roses in the background. The Rose Garden provided a beautiful backdrop for this trio!
I adored watching these new parents dote on their sweet, handsome little newborn baby during their Portland rose garden newborn session! As I was getting images of each parent solo with baby, I noticed the other parent gazing upon their partner and little love, just grinning from ear to ear.
Watching and documenting new parents as they adore their partner and child, is really special and a huge reason why I love what I do.
Not long after our Rose Garden photos, I was able to safely reopen my studio and Baby J came by for more fun! I’ll be sharing my studio session of Baby J soon. So stay tuned for more beautiful images of this sweet babe!
