I've had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family since their oldest was still in the womb. What I adore most about them is their adventurous spirit, always game for new experiences during our photo sessions.
This time, we embarked on a special trip to Rowena Crest in the Gorge to capture the breathtaking wildflowers in bloom. The session was a delightful adventure, and I'm thrilled with how the photos turned out. It's always a joy to capture the love and laughter of this family!

Summer brings such fantastic weather and the most stunning golden fields teeming with wildflowers. This spot is definitely one of my favorites, and these fields are a big reason why.
The family I'm photographing here is just awesome. I've been snapping their pics since their little one was still in the womb, and every session is a blast. When we arrived, they told their son to go run through the wildflower forest, and it was the cutest thing watching him dash off without a care in the world!

We play games, explore nature, laugh, be silly, make poop jokes and create beautiful memories for you with your lovely family. Memories that will only gain in value as time goes on.
I will guide you through the entire process, from location planning, to creating vision boards for styling your family, to a relaxed and authentic photo session, to helping you design stunning heirloom artwork to bring your images to life in your home. I'll help you with every little detail, so you can spend more time loving on your beautiful family.

I recommend reaching out about 3-4 months before your ideal session month, to ensure availability and to give us time to plan for your session. I only take a limited number of sessions each month and it's first come, first serve.
1. Say Hello
Once you've confirmed that we are the perfect fit to work together, I'll send you a booking proposal. You will have access to view my calendar and choose a date that works best for you.
Outdoor family sessions are scheduled from March through November.
You will also complete your session agreement and invoice for the retainer to officially reserve your session date on my calendar.
2. Schedule it
Prior to your session, you will receive a session prep guide which will walk you through everything you need to know to prepare for your family session. At this time, you'll select your location from my location guide.
You will also receive a style board with inspiration for outfits for your entire family. You are welcome to borrow from my client wardrobe (60+ size inclusive dresses).
This is also the time for you to reach out to my preferred hair & makeup artist who will pamper you on your session day. She excels at creating an enhanced natural look and she's amazing!
3. Planning it
Your family session will focus on genuine moments between family members. I have some interactions I will guide you through, but I encourage you to embrace the moment.
Have fun with your kids, explore the surroundings, laugh, tickle them, fly them like an airplane and I'll create beautiful images for you that you will cherish for always. I will not be asking you to smile at me the entire time. I look for authentic moments of you and your family members interacting with one another. That's where the true magic happens.
4. Your Session
About 3 weeks after your maternity session, we will schedule a time for you to view your images via an online reveal + ordering appointment. You will have 48 hours to view your images, select your favorites, and decide on artwork. This all takes place from the comfort of your own home.
Purchased digital images are delivered within 24 hours of placing your order and artwork is ready for delivery in about 6-8 weeks. I'll schedule a time with you to deliver everything to your home. Making the entire process as easy as possible for you.
5. Your Photographs

Pricing is simple. A non-refundable retainer of only $300 is collected upon booking your session. This covers my time and talent for planning and preparing for your session and access to my client wardrobe. All digital images and heirloom artwork are purchased during your online viewing and ordering appointment.
Family Session Pricing
Ashlie is an amazing newborn, infant, and family photographer who creates beautiful light-filled photographs. We have done five photo shoots with her and cherish the images and albums from them. Ashlie is able to create natural looking, playful family photos despite two introverted parents, and was even able to get adorable smiles out of a two week old baby. She also scouted unique outdoor locations for shoots - lakeside, Mt. Hood snowy scene, woodsy park, and a plant nursery!
We have received so many compliments from friends and family on the images Ashlie has created for us. We booked a maternity, newborn, and first year package with Ashlie and I'm so glad we did - we will also continue to use her for our family photography in the future. Ashlie did such a wonderful job of capturing beautiful photos for our family! She is just the sweetest!! I'm so glad that we have these pictures to cherish forever. She went above and beyond from the very start. I wanted lavender field pictures, she found a beautiful place. I wanted pictures of our family and portrait style of each one of my boys, she did exactly that!
To top it off, she came over to our house to show us all the beautiful pictures. As if that wasn't enough, she brought our portraits that we ordered straight to our door. If that's not top notch customer service, I don't know what is!!
