Hearth and Home Midwifery is a natural home birth center that is dedicated to helping parents have the best experience for their delivery. The center features three midwives at the heart of the practice. Each of these experts is deeply passionate about their role. They are going to be by your side through every step to ensure you have the best environment for your delivery. The center serves Portland, Vancouver, and the surrounding areas.
Services
Before you commit to Hearth and Home Midwifery, you can schedule a risk-free consultation. During this time, you will get to know all about the center so you can decide if it is right for you. From there, you will start scheduling regular appointments so they can monitor the progression of your delivery. They can take care of everything you need, including routine exams and lab work. Their visits will be unrushed, so they can build up your trust and create a relationship. As you near your due date, they will schedule a home visit so they can be sure your space is prepared for delivery.
Once your labor begins, your midwife will head to your house with any supplies they might need. If you choose to rent a birthtub, they will get it set up. Throughout delivery, they will be right by your side to give you physical and mental support. They will clean up your space following delivery and will ensure you and your baby begin recovery. All before they leave. Your postpartum appointments will take place at home.
